Why XSoundCloud
No ads jumping at you, no fake buttons, nothing to install. Just paste, convert and keep the song.
Most SoundCloud tracks can't be downloaded on SoundCloud itself. If a song plays publicly, our SoundCloud song downloader saves it as an MP3 you own.
Paste a set or album and see every track in one list. Download songs one by one for free, or grab the entire playlist as a ZIP with a Supporter pass.
Add x before soundcloud.com in your address bar and you land on the download page. It's the fastest way to download a SoundCloud song.
Every file comes with the song title, artist name and cover art, so it looks right in Apple Music, VLC, DJ apps and your car.
MP3 for everyday listening, plus SoundCloud to WAV and SoundCloud to FLAC for DJs and producers who want lossless sound.
Converting SoundCloud to MP3 is free. No sign-up, no email and no browser extension needed.
Every device
XSoundCloud runs in your browser, so the same page works on every phone, tablet and computer.
In the SoundCloud app tap Share → Copy Link. Open this page in Safari, paste the link and tap Convert. Your MP3 is saved in Files → Downloads.
Copy the song link from the SoundCloud app, paste it here in Chrome and download. The MP3 appears in your Downloads folder and music player.
Paste the link above, or add x before soundcloud.com and press Enter. No SoundCloud downloader for PC to install.
Use Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Arc. Files go to your Downloads folder, and you can drop them into the Music app to sync.
About XSoundCloud
SoundCloud is where new music shows up first: bedroom producers, unreleased edits, DJ mixes and remixes you won't find in any store. But streaming needs a connection, and tracks disappear when uploaders delete them. Saving a song as an MP3 lets you listen offline, on a flight, on the road or in your DJ set, even if it's gone from SoundCloud later.
Paste a SoundCloud link, or add x before soundcloud.com, and XSoundCloud reads the public audio stream, converts it to the format you pick and gives you a clean, tagged file. There's no desktop program, browser plugin or SoundCloud ripper to set up. A modern browser on any device is all you need.
MP3 is great for everyday listening, but DJ decks and studios often need more. With a Supporter pass you can convert SoundCloud to WAV or FLAC for Rekordbox, Serato, Traktor or your DAW, or save MP3 at 320kbps.
The SoundCloud playlist downloader reads sets, albums and artist pages. Paste the link, see the tracklist and download songs one at a time for free, or save the whole playlist as a single ZIP with a Supporter pass.
XSoundCloud is built for personal offline listening. Only download what you have the right to keep: your own uploads, free downloads the artist has approved, or music you have permission to use. And keep supporting the artists you love by following, sharing and buying their music.
Copy the song's SoundCloud link, paste it into the box at the top of this page and press Convert. Or add “x” before soundcloud.com in your address bar. The MP3 downloads with its title, artist and cover art.
Yes. Paste the link of any public track and press Convert. XSoundCloud turns the public stream into an MP3, so it doesn't matter that SoundCloud hides its own button.
xsoundcloud.com uses the same paths as SoundCloud. Change soundcloud.com/artist/song to xsoundcloud.com/artist/song and the song opens on our download page. Playlist links with /sets/ open in the playlist downloader.
Paste the playlist or album link, or add x to its address. Every track is listed so you can download them one by one for free. With a Supporter pass you can save the full playlist as a ZIP.
Yes. After you paste a link, switch the format to WAV or FLAC. Lossless files and 320kbps MP3 come with the Supporter pass, while 128kbps MP3 is free for everyone.
In the SoundCloud app tap Share → Copy Link, open xsoundcloud.com in Safari, paste the link and tap Convert. The MP3 is saved in the Files app, in Downloads.
Yes. Converting single tracks to MP3 is free and needs no account. The Supporter pass is an optional one-time Ko-fi payment that adds 320kbps, WAV, FLAC, playlist ZIPs and faster servers.
It depends on the track. Downloading your own uploads, Creative Commons music or songs the artist gives away for free is fine. For anything else, ask the rights holder first. XSoundCloud is meant for personal offline listening.
Next time a song catches your ear on SoundCloud, add x before soundcloud.com or paste the link in the box at the top.
